Welcome Kathryn!

Hi, my name is Kathryn Keach, I have recently moved to Moab.

I am a Certified, Licensed Massage Therapist; I will be practicing massage therapy at The Good Place, located at 350 south 400 east, Fridays thru Mondays.

I specialize in upper back, neck and shoulder pain. I have had a great deal of success in treating migraines, whiplash and TMJ syndrome and dysfunction. I have also had a great deal of success relieving low back pain, sciatica and arm pain, as well as repetitive use and sports injuries.

I have learned various bodywork techniques for the last 14 years, my style is based on my clients needs, combining all that I have learned both in the classroom as well as what experience has and continues to teach me. I received my accreditation from the Colorado School of Healing Arts in Lakewood CO.

I believe that healing is a proclamation of faith and that when given the tools to heal and opportunity one can create a harmony in both body and mind.

Whether you are looking to relax or pain management or if you are recovering from a sports injury, I invite you to call and schedule an appointment today.

See you soon!!

July Classes

Sat-sanga: "true company" - the practice of frequenting the good company of others, in whose presence the ultimate reality may be experienced more palpably.

Yoga for "Stiffy's" with Casey
Tuesdays, 6:30-7:30pm
& Thursdays 6:30-7:30pm (begining July 16th)
A gentle, introductory class for those new to yoga, to stiff for yoga, or who don't think yoga is for them. Focusing on easing low back, hamstrings, and shoulders. Come try it out.

Sheng Zhen Qi Gong with Ed Willey
Tuesdays (Movement) 12:00 - 1:00pm
& Thursdays (Meditation) 12:00 - 1:00pm
The practice of Qi Gong in general cultivates and exercises an inner power that often results in stronger health and a more peaceful mind. Going further, Sheng Zhen helps to open and purify one's heart, allowing the experience of unconditional love to become tangible and accessible. The essence of this qi gong is easy to learn. The movements are natural and suitable for anyone.

Restorative Yoga with Alicia (No class on July 24th)
Fridays, 10:00-11:30am
In this class each restorative posture will be held for several minutes to allow you to relax and deepen into the pose. Each pose will be highly supported, as it is not as much about building strength as it is about letting go of tension. The focus will be on better knowing our bodies and breath and gently restoring them to their natural state of grace. This class is great for beginners as well as those with a more advanced practice.

Vinyasa Yoga with Casey (no class on July 11th or 12th)
Saturdays, 10:30-11:30am
& Sundays, 5:00-6:00pm
Invigorating Vinyasa yoga asana to bring awareness to physical and emotional well-being.

Alicia Ranchardt - In a decade of study and practice I have developed a deep love of all things yoga. My path thus far has brought me to mats of many well known as well as unknown yoga instructors of many different styles and approaches to yoga – I love them all! I draw on this eclectic mix to teach a highly experiential yoga class, about feeling the body and following the breath, learning what they have to teach. My classes are designed to balance, renew, restore, and recharge your whole being. See you soon!

Edward Willey - Ed has been practicing Aikido and Qi Gong since 1995. After meeting Master Li Jun Feng in 2004 and being introduced to the practice of Sheng Zhen, his studies have taken him around the country and as far away as Manila, Philippines.

Casey Murphy - Casey started practicing asana 2 years ago after a climbing injury. Since then asana has become the focus of his athletic endeavors. In June of 2008 Casey began his teacher training in his hometown Ojai, CA at Lulu Bandhas Kira Ryder. He enjoys invigorating vinyasa to bring awareness to his physical and emotional well-being.

Are you an instructor? – Come by and check out our space. We still have room for more classes on our schedule, and teaching a small class is very rewarding!

We also have the space to host small workshops – give us a call or stop by and check it out!

Namaste & see you soon!
