March Classes

Sat-sanga: "true company" - the practice of frequenting the good company of others, in whose presence the ultimate reality may be experienced more palpably.

Mid-Week Balance & Flow Yoga with Alicia
Wednesdays, 6:00-7:15pm (no class on the 25th)
Be uplifted and regain your inner balance mid-week in this fun balance and flow yoga class. Each week we will dive into different yoga asanas, find new depth, and play with our edge. We will use drishti, and various mudras and bundas to assist in developing and sustaining focus. Some experience with yoga is good, but those brand new to yoga are welcome to jump in and learn as we go!

Sheng Zhen Qi Gong with Ed Willey
Thursdays, 12:00 - 1:00pm
The practice of Qi Gong in general cultivates and exercises an inner power that often results in stronger health and a more peaceful mind. Going further, Sheng Zhen helps to open and purify one's heart, allowing the experience of unconditional love to become tangible and accessible. The essence of this qi gong is easy to learn. The movements are natural and suitable for anyone.

Hot! Hatha Yoga with Alicia
Thursdays, 6:00-7:30pm (no class on the 26th)
New! Optional 2nd Hot Yoga Class Thursdays 7:45-9:15pm **with minimum 4 people preregistered

New! Optional 2nd Hot Yoga Class Sundays 5:45-7:15pm **with minimum 4 people preregistered
We will be heating the yoga room to approximately 90 degrees F to practice a Bikram-esque hot hatha series to warm up and wring out our bodies giving us renewed health & vitality. Yoga mats are available - bring a large towel and water bottle; wear flexible layers. 1st-timers are 100% welcome - arrive a few minutes early and we'll go over the basics :)

Restorative Yoga with Alicia
Fridays, 10:00-11:30am (no class on the 27th)
In this class each restorative posture will be held for several minutes to allow you to relax and deepen into the pose. Each pose will be highly supported, as it is not as much about building strength as it is about letting go of tension. The focus will be on getting to know our bodies and breath better and gently restoring them to their natural state of grace. This class is great for beginners as well as those with a more advanced practice.

Alicia Ranchardt - In a decade of study and practice I have developed a deep love of all things yoga. My path thus far has brought me to mats of many well known as well as unknown yoga instructors of many different styles and approaches to yoga – I love them all! I draw on this eclectic mix to teach a highly experiential yoga class, about feeling the body and following the breath, learning what they have to teach. My classes are designed to balance, renew, restore, and recharge your whole being. See you soon!

Edward Willey - Ed has been practicing Aikido and Qi Gong since 1995. After meeting Master Li Jun Feng in 2004 and being introduced to the practice of Sheng Zhen, his studies have taken him around the country and as far away as Manila, Philippines.

Casey Murphy - Casey started practicing asana 2 years ago after a climbing injury. Since then asana has become the focus of his athletic endeavors. In June of 2008 Casey began his teacher training in his hometown Ojai, CA at Lulu Bandhas Kira Ryder. He enjoys invigorating vinyasa to bring awareness to his physical and emotional well-being.

Are you an instructor? – Come by and check out our space. We still have room for more classes on our schedule, and teaching a small class is very rewarding!
